And Now For Something Completely Different!

Here at AnimEigo, we're always looking for new and interesting projects, particularly ones that broaden our horizons. Over twenty years ago, we took a chance on releasing Anime. A few years later, we started releasing entire TV series (one took us a decade to completely release!). Then we stumbled upon live-action samurai films, and then added Japanese art and war films to the mix.

Expert swordsman KANEMI Sanzaemon is, first and foremost, a man of principle. In order to save his clan from the corrupting influence of his lord's favorite concubine, he publicly assassinates her, fully expecting it will result in his own death by seppuku.
